The world has spent the past year during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many lives have been lost and many more have been altered forever. American Management University spent the majority of 2020 on stand-by, only holding classes for students enrolled prior to 2020.

With new enrollments paused, all inquiries were forwarded to AMU’s sibling and partner, California Metropolitan University. However, over the past few weeks, AMU’s leadership team has been able to meet via Zoom to strategize on moving forward.

Before Christmas, AMU administration decided to move forward with a strategy in 2021. The strategy will focus more heavily on executive training, corporate programs, business & leadership programs, and weekend-only format classes.

In addition, the school will seek out new partners who match this ideology, whether they are academic or corporate.

New applications for AMU’s MBA program will resume in February, with the DBA slated to continue later in the year. The Master in Management has been dissolved and will be replaced by an updated program that better suits the needs of our target demographics.
