At American Management University, our athletics program is more than just sports—it’s an extension of our Christian mission to develop ethical, purpose-driven leaders who serve with integrity, humility, and excellence. Through sports, we aim to inspire discipline, teamwork, and spiritual growth, shaping student-athletes who lead both on and off the field.

Who We Are

AMU Athletics is launching with a vision to build competitive, character-driven teams grounded in our values of faith, leadership, and service. Our program begins with club and intramural sports and will expand into full collegiate teams as we grow.

We welcome students who are not only passionate about sports but also committed to living out Christian values through their athletic journey.

Our Mission

• Promote Christ-centered athletic leadership through sportsmanship and service.

• Build a vibrant club sports culture that evolves into intercollegiate competition.

• Establish local affiliations and leagues in the short term.

• Pursue membership in Christian athletic organizations such as the NCCAA after U.S. accreditation.

• Provide scholarship opportunities as funding becomes available.

AMU Athletics is a non-profit entity that will launch and run remotely from California.

Our teams proudly compete as the AMU Lions—a symbol of strength, courage, and righteousness. Inspired by biblical imagery, the lion represents our students’ resilience, faith, and leadership. As Lions, our athletes strive to “run with perseverance the race marked out for them” (Hebrews 12:1).
