Institutional Status
American Management University is authorized to operate as a postsecondary institution under the laws of the State of Utah. AMU is not currently accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency.
Memberships and Professional Associations
AMU maintains selected institutional memberships and external recognitions to support quality improvement, professional engagement, and institutional development.
American Management University has gained Membership status from the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC). American Management University holds Membership status with the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC). ASIC membership does not constitute institutional accreditation and should not be interpreted as equivalent to accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
American Management University is an Educational Member of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). International Alliance of Business Professionals (IABP). American Management University is an official partner of the International Alliance of Business Professionals (IABP), a nonprofit professional association that supports networking, mentorship, and professional engagement. AMU’s 120-hour TESOL certification program has been accredited by ACCREDITAT, an international accreditation body specializing in TESOL and language education. This recognition applies to the TESOL certification program only and does not constitute institutional accreditation of the university.
