American Management University (AMU) is authorized to operate as a postsecondary institution under the laws of the State of Utah.
AMU operates internationally with administrative functions based in France.
AMU is not currently accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency.

ASIC is recognized by UKVI in UK and is a full member of The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), is a member of the BQF (British Quality Foundation) and is an institutional member of EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network).
American Management University is an Educational Member of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas, USA. Educational members have not yet undergone accreditation reviews and do not have business programs that are accredited by the IACBE. International Alliance of Business Professionals (IABP), U.S., a non-profit professional association is an organization dedicated to helping professionals network with one another, mentorship, and business research. AMU is an official partner of IABP and students are encouraged to join IABP to share their research with fellow students and professional at conferences held by the organization.
